In a few days, I’m off to Ghana for assignments.
It will be my fourth trip, and I’m excited. My first visit was in 2005, followed by 2008 and 2015. The work was successful, and it will be great to revisit it.
Ghana is known for its rich cultural heritage, diverse ecosystems, and stable democracy. Ghana was the first sub-Saharan African country to gain independence from colonial rule, marking a significant milestone in the continent’s history.
“Ghana” means “warrior king” in the Soninke language, reflecting the country’s past glories and achievements. Today, Ghana is a multicultural society with over 100 ethnic groups and several religions, including Christianity and Islam.
Let’s go!
