Posted by To travel from Bangkok, Thailand to Port-au-Prince takes about 40 hours. This time I flew Bangkok – LA – Miami – Port-au-Prince. The first leg is over 14 hours. Thanks to help from Thai Airways I got an upgrade to Business on that leg. That was nice. I was working most of the way, needed to fix some stuff.
Now in Haiti again. I have been here half of dozens times before. I have some exciting stuff coming up. Some pictures below. The sunset over Pacific ocean and then a picture of a street kid in Port-au-Prince yesterday. There are somewhere between 5-10000 street children in Port-au-Prince according to UNICEF. This boy was knocking on the window asking for one dollar. Contrasts of life.
