First car scheme down the drain?

Thailand “First Car Scheme” seems to cost the buyers and the country a lot more than expected. I’m not surprised. Read more here. At the same time the “rice program” cost the country a lot of money.

And of course the traffic is worse than ever downtown Bangkok.
